Responsible Parenting Day

The weather forecast was hot, humid and generally icky, so I decided to use this day to get all the last minute back to school stuff done for Stella.  We had a very lazy morning which suited us both to a tee!

We had Como Park Senior High freshman orientation tonight too.  Much to Stella's chagrin I signed up to volunteer for stuff.  She will thank me eventually!

She saw lots of her Junior High friends and is very excited to start this new adventure! I got to see many friends too as it is my alma mater!

Although I have no personal State Fair news to report, I did get word from one roving reporter (Mom), that upon her visit to Danielson's onion rings tonight (her addiction has been discussed earlier) this is what transpired!

Putting out my money and a young man says "So which number is this for you?" Then they all said "This one is on us" Then the young woman who saw me last night said "You need an onion ring punch card"

Great Story!  I am still asking myself...What number is this?  Minimum number is eight!

As I peruse all my photos I realize I have never documented said onion rings!  I am sure there will be at least four more opportunities to get that photo op for 2011~
