One of the cars I parked on Moms front lawn had this splat on the hood....I seriously thought it was a decal,
but no...it was from a bird! As I got on the grounds, the parade was just passing by!
These are the guys Stella pulls in the parade each day. Apparently, due to poor costume visibility one of them tripped on a tow chain so they are now riders instead of walking in the parade. I think the heat has something to do with it too!!
Stella rode in these when she was little!
These are the only thing in the parade she never got a chance to ride!
I proceeded to do three pops up as the parade and I made our way up Cosgrove. I was moving quite a bit faster then the parade!
There was a breeze today which helped make the warmth a little more bearable! I was again in the photo booth and this family popped in for a picture!
It was a slow day in the photo booth, so I had to get creative to drum up business! I told kids I didn't have an iPad or and iPhone...I just communicated with my iNoodle!
Later in my shift my dear silly friend Martha and her sister Liz stopped by!
I love it when people stop in!
I worked two shifts this afternoon since people were needed and my friend Janice was working to close. She had fun, I think!
Stella came up to find me since she was done working before me tonight. We were grateful to have extra hands as closing up the forest took a little extra work since it had poured in the morning. All the tarps required hand drying with towels before we could seal things up! Debra brought a nice dinner to share with the Forest managers, the Morlock family (as they were camping on the grounds and you can eat only so much fair food!)
It was dark by the time we got everything battened down and they sat down to eat.
Stella and I made our way home and as we were waiting at the Snelling gates we saw this beauty! Looks very much like my first car.
Except this one was soooo much better!
